Upsun (formerly Platform.sh) is a European PaaS service for simple, developer-oriented app deployment and hosting. It supports multi-runtime stacks, managed services, observability and APM, and deployment across multiple cloud regions including various EU locations.
No permanent fully free tier. Ongoing credits cover platform fees, but compute resources are charged.
Upsun is headquartered in France, an EU member state. This places it under the EU's data protection regime, including the GDPR, and reduces its exposure to data-access laws from outside the EU.
