Sponsorship, Advertising and Paid Listings

EU Alternative offers paid sponsorship placements as described on our Advertise page, and may also charge a fee for inclusion of a service in the directory. The following terms apply to all such bookings in addition to the general terms above.

Booking and Payment

Sponsorship placements and paid listings are arranged by mutual agreement following contact via email. Payment is due in advance in EUR: for sponsorships, before the campaign start date; for listings, before the entry is published. A full invoice is provided for your records. VAT is added where applicable under Estonian law.

No Refunds

All sponsorship fees are non-refundable once the campaign has gone live. Cancellation prior to the placement start date may be requested by email and is subject to our discretion.

Listing fees are a one-time payment and are non-refundable in all circumstances, including if the listing is subsequently removed for breach of these terms or for editorial reasons.

Acceptance

We reserve the right to accept or decline any sponsorship request or listing application at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. We will not accept submissions that, in our judgement, are illegal, deceptive, malicious, adult in nature, infringe third-party rights, or are otherwise incompatible with the editorial focus of EU Alternative.

If a live sponsorship or paid listing is found to violate these conditions, we reserve the right to remove it without refund.

Editorial Control

Payment of a listing fee does not grant the payer any control over the editorial presentation of the listed service. All content on the listing — including the written description, choice of wording, assigned categories, comparison tables, and the pages or contexts in which the service appears — is determined solely by EU Alternative. Listed parties may submit corrections of factual errors, which we will review at our discretion.

No Performance Guarantees

Audience figures shown on the Advertise page reflect the average monthly traffic over the trailing three months and are provided for indicative purposes only. Actual traffic may vary at any time. We make no warranty or guarantee as to impressions, clicks, conversions, leads, search-engine visibility, or any other measurable outcome of a sponsorship placement or paid listing. Fluctuations in audience size or composition are not grounds for a refund.

Applicable Law

This legal notice is subject to the laws of Estonia. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this legal notice is Tallinn, Estonia.
