Revel

Revel

EU alternative from Austria 🇦🇹

Description

Revel is an open-source event platform for communities, clubs, and independent venues. Event organizers can sell tickets and collect RSVPs. Additional features include memberships and season passes, QR codes, and support for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. The hosted service stores data in Germany, and the open-source version can be self-hosted on your own infrastructure.

Tickets for free events have no fees attached. Paid tickets on the managed service cost 1.5% + 0.25€ per transaction, plus payment processing fees.

Revel is open-source (MIT license) and can be self-hosted for free. The paid ticket platform fees apply only to the managed service.

Revel is headquartered in Austria, an EU member state. This places it under the EU's data protection regime, including the GDPR, and reduces its exposure to data-access laws from outside the EU.
